I want to know what’s “cloud computing” exactly?
someone said it means you needn’t hard disk in the future,cause the “cloud” will provide the service of computing and storage,you just need a pipe link your machine to the “cloud”
but others say you computer not only enjoy the service,but also provide
computing and storage service to other computer?

Could somebody please explain to me what cloud computing is in laymen’s terms?
I’d use it mainly for business purposes, i.e web development , virtual machines of any kind of OSes, JAVA programming etc…
I hear that Leopard will have ZFS, but it sounds like it’s delayed until the end of 2007. I have several massive drives, and want to take advantage of redundancy mainly, so that if things fail I don’t lose data.

I have an iMac and I plan to run Windows on it using a program like VMWare or Parallels. Thing is can I just buy whatever version is out there or is there a special one for running on Macs?
