Would It Be Safe For Me To Do This?

Now I’m a techie but I want to make sure.
If I install Windows in a Virtual Machine, and get that infected, would my regular PC get infected? By regular, I don’t mean the virtual PC, but I mean the whole PC for real.
I hope I didn’t confuse you with that question.

Why would you possibly want to go there? It’s a site created to take advantage of typo’s of google.com, to dispense viruses, spyware, malware, etc. There’s nothing good at that site.
There’s 1000’s of such sites, typos of legit sites, and they all are loaded up with nasties, just waiting to infect visitors
