i was wondering how safe i am surfing the net through my VMware windows xp virtual machine. What i would like to know is, as i am using the windows vista (host OS) to connect to the internet and then using the actual internet on my Guest OS (windows xp) to surf the net. [...]
Now I’m a techie but I want to make sure.
If I install Windows in a Virtual Machine, and get that infected, would my regular PC get infected? By regular, I don’t mean the virtual PC, but I mean the whole PC for real.

Why would you possibly want to go there? It’s a site created to take advantage of typo’s of google.com, to dispense viruses, spyware, malware, etc. There’s nothing good at that site.
There’s 1000’s of such sites, typos of legit sites, and they all are loaded up with nasties, just waiting to infect visitors

I deal with some pretty nasty malware on a daily basis and Ive been using SandBoxie to run them sanboxed but It doesn’t give you many options as far as seeing what entities the bug creats after install in and unsandboxed envirement? I am interested in setting up a VMware Fusion Windows 7 Virtual Machine on a Mac. I am wondering if this is safe and can mess up my Mac in any way? Also, if I want to delete it, will I be able to get all the disk space that was being taken, back? Thanks.
