I am running ubuntu 8.10 on vmware workstation an I am trying to use emerald to customize the appearance of my desktop. my problem is that when I click on a theme there is no change. I tried hitting alt-f2 and typing emerald –replace but that did nothing please help me

Well i download this game i like and when i open it the game doesnt load instead i get a black box saying
