I can understand when I have a VM-Ware image open that uses 1 GB of memory, but I do NOT have a Virtual Machine running now, and I sometimes can’t do work in Lotus Notes 7.

I have windows Vista premium , which is showing 90% of memory usage with only following few processes
- 2 Virtual machines of 1GB each.
- few Internet explorer instances
- 1 firefox instance
I opened the task manager and added memory for each process, its not more than 3GB, Is there any way I can find actual memory [...]

After startup,a window pops up and states that I have no virtual memory.It gives instructions on how to fix this.After following instructions,the same happens upon restart.Can someone help me?

My PC keeps telling me that it requires more virtual memory and is increasing the size of the file. If I increase the amount of RAM in the machine, will this reduce the amount of virtual memory required and therefore stop the file size increase?
I bought a Dell laptop that came with XP and I just went with the standard 256 MB of ram. I will eventually get more ram when I have the money, but in the mean time I just bumped up my virtual memory to over a gig to handle my programs.
