Installed Windows 98(Guest system) but i cant adjust the resolution or color so i think i need to download a driver but i dont have any idea what card driver to get. host system is Ubuntu Feisty
I’m trying to run a Win95 program in Win95 emulate mode on an XP machine. It doesn’t recognize mmd.386.

Most virtual machines client require the OS’s dependant generic drivers installed since, of course, newer hardware won’t had older supported drivers. I have virtual machines running Windows 95 and OS/2. The hardware video appears as VGA under both OS and sound is just enabled under client configuration settings.

Is there a program that lets me create a virtual machine with specific details such as the type of processor, clock speed, and amount of cache? Currently I have VMWare Fusion but I think I might need something with more (expensive) features.
