I am installing an RPM package for Vmware Update 2 and I am running out of space in /var/updates. I have lots of space elsewhere. Can I use a Symbolic link from /var/updates to (another directory) as a solution? Does it work this way?

i’d deleted undo disks by a mistake, and now want to recover it. I used easy recovery professional 6 (Raw recovery), but could not find the file, but It foundsome files named “filXX.TOC” , and many file which where inside the virtual machine.
Is there any solution?
