I just upgraded to vmwara version 5.5 and now my windows xp host system hangs at the login screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

hi i have just downloaded yahoo sitebuilder on my pc but i cant run it. every time i try to open this software, a popup comes with a message titled “java virtual Machine Launcher” and then the message is “unable to access jarfile C:\documents and settings\USERNAME\application data\sun\java\deployment

I have Ubuntu 7.10 burned on a dvd, and it’s currently on my DVD drive right now.
VMware and VirtualBox uses this DVD drive to boot; essentially to run Ubuntu as the virtual machine.

in the same caused an errror. Then i pressed ok, then it popped up again. i exited all the other screens i had open on the internet and other places, but it still happens. Does anyone know how to fix it? i need help FAST!
