just bought e-machine-error message too many virtual java machines running -
can not get java to work or install
have looked on the internet and on microsoft.com with no help
am ready to throw machine in road
I get the above error, which says “error writing to file Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Design.dll” ,when installing VS 2005 on a notebook with Vista Home Premium , and got the same error on a virtual machine running XP.
When I cancel the error message , setup fails and rolls back the installation.
I was installing from an administrators’ account.

I am running windows 2003 r2 with virtual server 2005. I have one network on the virtual machine attached to the pyshcial network adapter on the host. The host can ping the VM the VM can ping the host, but clients on the network cant not ping the VM. Any ideas? Thanks.
