Which Windows Version Uses The Less Resources?

im instaling this in my MAC with vmware fusion so i need a very light version.

    Windows 3.1 . The whole system took only 30 Meg. (approx.) Although if you were to install that version, I don’t think you could find anything to run under it, except Solitaire.

    The above answers are correct. Win98 is the smallest one I have ever used–it runs about 800 megs. Due to what is called software bloat every new operating system is bigger than the last one so just step backwards and you will get a smaller OS.
