What Version Of Windows Do I Buy?

I am going to buy VMware Fusion or Parallels for Mac (most likely VMware). I want to use Windows XP because I hear Vista is horrible. What version of XP should I buy? If possible, I would like a link to the version.

  1. If you are going to get Windows then it has to be XP Pro.http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/d…

Hi, Vista isn’t bad as people think. Its really great and a lot more secure compared to Xp. It has some of the security features of Unix present in OS X as well, so u won’t feel like u have completely entered a different world.
I would suggest Vista in this case as well since its newer and is likely to be supported longer and 3d acceleration is not far away on vmware and it would be good to have a 3d accelerated desktop.http://www.microsoft.com
    Good Luck!
