Start/stop A Windows Service From Another Pc’s Service Manager?

I have a windows service on vmware (WinXP PRO) that I want to start/stop from a workstation. Is that possible?

    Yes it is.
    Right click on your My Computer Icon on your desktop and select “Manage”
    In the box that appears, select Action (on the menu) and “Connect to another computer”. Browse for it and then you can see the services this computer is running and can stop and start them as you wish.
    This will only work if the machines are on the same network!
