How To Un-install The Deleted Program?

Hi, I am using windows vista.
I deleted one program file from my computer and now I am trying to un-install that from add or remove programs.
But I am not able to do that because its throwing an error massage of “The installation source is not available verify that source exists and you can exes it”.
Can any one tell me how to un-install this program from my computer.
even i try to install the program again, that also not possible its asking me to un-install first, then try to install.
And that program is VMware.
Thank you guys.

Press the windows logo at the bottom left hand cornor of your screen (the “start icon”).
Then on the right side of the start screen, and click “control panel.”
Under the selection “programs,” press uninstall program.
A screen should apear that says “windows needs your permission to continue.” press “ok”.
    Follow the directions from there.

You say you deleted “One Program File” before you went to add/remove. So basically in a sense corrupted the program and so it cannot complete the add/remove because it is missing that file that you deleted. Scour through your recycle bin and see if you can find the file that you deleted then restore the file.
You can also as was stated go into the registry and find all the files that are associated with that program but you would have to know exactly which one they are. Registry is not for the faint hearted and requires a certain level of expertise to mess with it. You can cause a great deal of trouble if you don’t know what you are doing.
In the future when you want to delete a program go directly to add/remove.

How to uninstall a program in windows vista
To remove a software, just click on the Start orb, go to Control Panel and choose Uninstall a program. Here there’s a list with programs that you can uninstall, each containing information about the Publisher (who made the software), when was the software installed and the size of it. Click on the application you want to remove and select Uninstall.
What you should know when uninstalling a program
There are some things you should now before or after uninstalling a software:
For safety reasons, you should log off every user (except the administrator) on the computer before uninstalling a software
Some of the programs are not completely uninstalled and they can leave some traces behind. My suggestion is to find out where the remaining file are and erase them (usually in Program Files or Documents)
You can only uninstall a program from Control Panel if it was originally installed with a Windows compatible setup program. Otherwise, you would have to manually delete the files, folders and the shortcuts
    good luck :)
