How To Pass Text Or Txt File From Windows Xp To Linux . . . Step By Step Please?

hi all
i have windows xp pro
and i have ubuntu linux installed into windows and running using VMware player …
now can anybody tell me exactly what to do to pass text from windows to linux
i am simply not gonna type that text again in linux, its 2 big, i am sure there is an easy way to pass text to linux, but still don’t know how, and need you help

    If you are running Linux under VMware, you are working with a virtual machine – turn it off and everything is gone. So, you either save the file to the harddrive, a flash drive, or a floppy. If you do that, you should be able to access the file with XP. Figure out where you saved the file in question, if you saved it, and open it with windoze. Try saving it to a flashdrive if you continue to have problems.
