I’m thinking of buying XP to run on VMware on my mac. I was wondering if it runs really slowly, or fast (almost native)???
Thanks!

It runs pretty fast. You won’t notice much of a difference. VMWare is sweet. Also try VirtualBox, KVM, and Xen.
It will run decent depending on how powerful u make your virtual machine and how powerful u can make it depending on the host.
Personally I would never install windows on a mac, but if u must then why not use parallels? Its way better than vmware and its for Mac OS X only.
A virtual PC will always without exception run slower than an actual PC regardless of the operating system you have installed.
LUg.
It will run decent, but not as good as it would natively.
Software can’t compete with hardware, if you want to run XP on your Mac I suggest you do it natively with bootcamp.
