Create A Windows Xp Sp2 Bootable Cd Without Original Disk?

i need to create a bootable cd of my XP OS but i do not have the original cd to copy. is there a way i can make a bootable cd of XP without the original cd? i am doing this so i can make a virtual machine of xp on my vista OS

    No. The best you can do is to ghost your current hard drive and mount the image in your virtual machine, if the machine in question even allows for that.

    Yes. Find a college or some college students that have a copy of Windows XP Professional SP2 Student Edition (note the “Student Edition” part). It is encouraged for distribution by Microsoft and college campuses, and is automatically genuine software when it comes to Windows Updates and such.
    If you are unable to perform such search, you might also want to do some hardcore Google researching on getting your material *cough*legally*cough*.
