Is It Possible To Make Resource Sharing Between Local Host And The Virtual Network?

For example can I share my PC modem with the virtual machines ? if affirmative then how?

  1. in vmware, you can use bridged networking, which will essentially use the computers nic directly, regardless of what the host machine is doing with it
