How Do I Find Out What Virtual Machines Are Running?

i cannot get back to playing spades on yahoo! when i try, it tells me applet cannot load because several java virtual machines are running. i am not able to find out anything in the java file or on java website, without tech support. which i have tried. anybody?

    You need to download Java Virtual Machine. And if you want to develop something in java you need Java Runtime Enviornment.
