VMWare is a company that produces a software product called Fusion, that in turn allows you to run Windows on an Intel-based Apple Mac. It creates a virtual machine – i.e. the software pretends to be a Windows compatible computer, and so fools Windows in to believing that it is running on a PC, allowing you to run both Apple’s OS X and Windows at the same time on an Apple Mac. Fusion intercept’s Windows attempts to address the hardware (such as the mouse, the screen, printer ports etc.) and routes them to the equivalent Mac OS X system. Parallels Desktop does the same thing. OS X’s Boot Camp is free and allows you to boot in to either Windows or Mac OS X on an Intel-based Apple Mac but you can’t run both at the same time. For all three solutions, you need a licensed copy of Windows to install on top of the virtual machine software.
Before anyone asks, neither product allows you to run Mac OS X on a Windows-compatible PC.
I surely what to explain to you about VMware but it’ll be too long so I’ll just link you to the PDF file explaining what is VMware. http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/XP_guide
you can run Windows Software when your running Mac OS, you can run Windows OS when your running Mac OS…
