Which Virtual Machine Can Boot From A Bootable Usb Stick?

I have created a bootable USB stick to install windows from but I cant find a virtual machine that can boot from a USB Stick. they can boot from USB HDD-s but not from Flashdisks. any suggestions? I want to test it, wondeirng if it works.
P.S. My flashdisk has a bootsector, so it’s 100% bootable, just my laptop doesnt support booting from USB stick and I cant test it on my laptop’s BIOS. so I’m lookin for a virtual machine. I have VMware workstation and Microsoft Virtual PC, any ideas how to boot it? thanks.

  1. The VMs (VMware, Virtual PC) are still limited by the hardware capabilities of the PC. If your laptop does not have the capability of booting from USB, the VMs will not either. You need to try it on a machine that can boot from USB.
