do i need boot camp? cuz i really only use the windows feature to use the msn messenger (mac msn messenger sux)
so is there a need for me to install boot camp?

No, you don’t need Boot Camp. VMWare Fusion and Boot Camp (along with Parallels) are all ways of running other operating systems on a Mac. You only need one of them.
