How Can I Install Direct3d On A Virtual Machine?

i got windows xp on a virtual machine so i can run some of the games that i have that vista says will not run but i keep getting direct3d errors saying it isnt installed so how can i install direct3d on a virtual machine or somehow get the drivers updated in ubuntu under a virtual machine so i can run compiz-fusion

    Direct3D doesn’t work because most virtual machines don’t support virtualization of 3D graphics cards.
