Does Anyone Know Something Like The Vmware Player Or Virtual Pc That I Can Use The Internet?

i’m trying to use the internet so i can use beta things on the net so that it’s totally safe and it’s totally private.
like vmware stuff or virtual pc thing… but vmware broke off the internet connection on the browser appliance and virtual pc needs a bootable disk that i don’t have…. any suggestions?
if possible…
anything that can use ms-dos 5.0 or higher and cd-rom capable so that i can use my quake i bought and can’t use on XP….
virtual pc’s seem to be my only choice but like i said i’ve had two bad experiences…
thank you… and both suggestion would be appreciated.

  1. From what I think you mean, you probably need an emulator, like Dosbox, except Dos to XP. Unfortunately, this is something that can’t be done, because of the different hardware req. Try upgrading to XP, or if you’re cheap, go to Linux, like me. Go to Ubuntu.com to find FREE versions of it. You can get XP emulators to work there.
